Hello I’m running into and issue when I goto 3/4 throttle and up. The jet ski wants to die out, it will go from full rpm to idle than right back up to full rpm. I have taken the carb apart twice now thinking it may just be getting dirty but not finding an issue there. Than I figured it might be the mpem from other threads I’ve read and from the local shops near me but the issue hasn’t changed. It doesn’t just slow down either.. the rpm just drops in and out. But only when in high rpm, puts around just fine under 3/4 throttle. Thinking it may be the voltage regulator but I’m not having any pops from fuel building up from incorrect spark timing and I’m just lost at this point.

Wow...those symptoms usually are reserved for fuel depravation/starvation....I would bypass the fuel selector to start, easily done.

Okay I have bypassed the selector switch nothing changed I then decided to replace the fuel lines cause they weren’t looking to good and I noticed there is a 1 way valve on the tank vent and that seems to have very little directional flow could this be cause the issue? When taking gas cap off there is pressure being built up after taking it around the lake.

This valve goes out the side of the hull
