I’ve triple verified all switches are good to go per shop manual. I’ve also bypassed all the switches. Engine will crank when I jump the solenoid. But will not crank through start switch wires. Oil light is on but that shouldn’t matter. I’m at a loss here. Looked through shop manual and done everything I feel like I can. Harness coming from magnito does have a white wire in it but it’s cut on both ends of the harness. Does not go to anything. It’s a single coil ignition. Any input or help please? I’ve been working on this for a month.

Lets start simple. Is the ski beeping it when you put the lanyard on? Is the 5amp fuse in the Module good?
These starter systems are not complicated. You know you have power and ground on the high amp side of the solenoid/circuit since it cranks when you jump the solenoid.

Find a wiring diagram online, you need to trace power from the battery to the main module and go from there. The wiring diagram I’m looking at is for a 95, but I think it’s the same. Power goes battery-starter solenoid-module. Then the start stop switch has its own circuit, then the module sends power out to energize the low amp side of the solenoid and crank the engine.

So after testing everything multiple times I concluded I had 12v to solenoid to allow it to function. Come to find out the brand new solenoid was bad. I was on a wiring diagram this whole time and could not figure it out. Threw in a new solenoid and bam no issues cranked just fine. Now after some test idle with water hooked up I’m fighting what looks like fuel issues I didn’t have before.

I got the same problem with my 96 GTI I have replaced the solenoid ,changed brushes on starter and new start button, but still not working I am new to seadoo any Ideas I appreciate it.
