94 gts won't shut off

I have a 94 gts 580 and it will not shut off by pressing the stop button or pulling the safety key out any ideas? Thanks

open the grey elect box and check the wiring. somebody probably wired around the cut-outs. you don't wanna be driving it like that. you fall off and it won't wait around for you...

checked couldn't find any loose wires or anything cut

Give the lanyard key a good look over. Follow the wires to the electrical module box...it has to have a problem there. I also would check the wires going to the start/stop switch too, as it must have a bad connection there as well. Both these components are what control the engine electrical power.
