recent purchase... have to hold in stop button while pushing start button to get engine to turn over.... crossed wiring possibly??? anyone know what wires go where on the two small posts of the solenoid?

if you are looking at the solenoid with the power cables from the battery and starter at the 12 o'clock position the black and white wire goes on the small post on the left and the yellow and re goes on the small post to the right. don't know if that is your problem though.. good luck

*large right terminal from battery---> one red cable from batt(6-8gau)., one small red wire to front half of case(14-16gau), one small red wire to back half of case.(14-16gau).............
*small left terminal--->two black/white stripe wires.(14-16gau).........
*small right terminal---> one yellow wire(14-16gau)...............

You got it!

that should be how it goes back together. crossed wire or short one of the two. Get a seadoo shop manual off ebay and start looking it over it will give you everything you'll ever need to know. and it's like 5 to 7 bucks cant go wrong
