93 GTS won't start

I have a 1993 Sea Doo GTS that won't start. My daughter went out to use it one day and it turned over several times but didn't start (which isn't unusual). Then she tried it again and it wouldn't turn over. The battery is fully charged and in good shape. It won't turn-over, it just clicks once when trying to start. The click is coming from the box that the spark plug wires come out of.

Also, I noticed that the starter is warm to the touch.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would pull the plugs out and see if it will turn over first just to make sure it is not an engine problem.
If not then check all connections for corrosion and bad contact.:cheers:

I got the same ski, mines very hard to start... I wouldnt be surprised if this happens to me next... let us kno when you find the fix

I tried starting with the plugs out and it did the same thing.

Connection points all look good.

If all the connections have been cleaned and tightened up then hmmm.
Not sure...maybe the starter has gone south on you.

just pull the starter and hook a battery straight to it. you might even want to test the starter relay. dont go buy a starter until you know its the problem. starter relays tend to go often

If you do buy a starter then don't buy one of those cheap e-bay ones. You will be right back where you started in about a month.
