92gts mpem question

What can cause the mpem to go bad? If I were to replace my mpem what other areas do I need to look into to insure I don't burn out my new one? Thanks for any help!

No mpem....

The 92 GTS has no mpem. You have the electronic control module. Big difference.

If you burned your last one, I'd figure it was cause of old age. There really isn't much electrically going through the ECM but the ignition system and speed limiter.
