92 xp new motor over heated

i have a 92 seadoo xp and just rebuit the engine, i did the crack to the top a complete rebuild i got it board out .5m with new pistons. it is now going and i have mixed the petrol 40:1, but i have only taken it out once and after about 3min it over heated. the barol and head weren't that hot but the crack case was extremely hot. the water was flowing through the motor. i dont know what would cause this. Overheat

What makes you say it overheated? Did the overheat sensor go off? The crank cases do not have water going thru them to cool them. Only the cylinders, head and exhaust system have water going thru them in order to cool them.

the ski stalled on me, so i had a look and i couldnt touch the crack case at all it was really hot,

I hear that you should not touch crack as it will burn you. :rofl: I wander if you have a bad beaing in the bottom end. :cheers:
