92 xp ignition problem

my 1992 xp only starts when i shake the electrical box.okay, i know its an electrical problem, cuz there's no spark at the plugs.I've replaced the coil and the solenoid. i don't know what it could be.I'm desperate for help! oh, and by the way, once you get it started (if you can) alot of times, it dies just as it would if the stop switch had been pressed, but i've tested that too! please help!it's the ignition relay.

It sound like the electrical box shaker may be bad. you can buy a new one at any lol:rofl: Just kiding but it does sound like it may be a bad conection around or in the electrical box. Check all the wire conections for a bad conection. If you are able to get it started by moving some wires carfully move one wire at a time to find the bad conection. you need to do this in the water as it could take some time. good luck Robin :cheers:

i've narrowed it down.

it seems to start when i shake the control relays.i hope it's those and not the mpem that they're attached to.
