Hi everyone,

I was thinking about buying a 91 xp from my dock nieghbor. This ski has very few hours on it and clean as a whistle inside and out. It has not been rode much. When I ask him about it he said there where 2 relays in a box in the front of the ski which kept blowing would run for about 15 min and would blow again? So that's one promblem. Now I go down to the dock Monday and the ski is full of water over the carbs but not over the cyld head. The ski just got real cheap.$300.00. So what am I getting myself into if I buy this thing? I pumped the water out and tied it up higher. So the water has only been at the bottom of the engine the past few days. If I get it I will be getting it to the my house this weekend.
Thanks for any help Ray

Ok I know from reading some other post when I get the ski out of the water I need to turn it over and get some oil in the cly.I looked at these relays he was talking about. They are in a grey box and there are two of them. I have to fix that in order to turn it over.( He said) How do you tell if these are bad?Why would they only last 15min? I do know he could not find them in the local sea doo shop so he got these at radio shack. That may be part of the problem. Will the starter still work ok after being under water For a week? I am not sure what to first if someone could give me some suggestion. Thanks Ray
