90w or 30w ?

90w Gear oil or 30w motor oil

I’m rebuilding my 2000 seadoo gtx di
951cc motor
Reading thru the manual I see conflicting info for filling the counter balance. In one section it says to fill with gear oil and in another section it suggests filling with motor oil

What have you used ? What do you recommend?

I did not know it was supposed to be changed. The service manual says to inspect every 50 hours but I am not seeing any reference to a change interval, or even how to inspect it?
