Had my SD SP running excellent then al of a sudden it started bogging. Next thing It won't start because it floods out. Compression and spark are great. I've tried turning the adjustment screw all the in but still loads of gas on the plugs.
Any Help??

Dale, what exactly is the compression in the cylinders? What is the setting on the screw also in the carb? It should be at a starting point of 1 1/2 turns.
What plugs are you using? Let us know so we can give you some advice.

THanks Karl

Plugs are BR8ES and fire great, my compression checked at 150 ea. cylinder. I just disconnected the oil injection linkage to see if it would fire w/ out oil, (thought maybe oil could be flooding it but no luck).

I run my screw at 1 1/2 and nothing. I even tightened it all the way in to see if it would reduce the fuel flow but the plugs still get soaked. SHould'ntthis cut off the gas flow completely?

Noticed

Hello Karl, I forgot to mention that when I run the starter for 8 to 15 seconds to try and get it to start, alot of pure oil has been dripping out of the exhaust.
Any idea?
