You need to remove the rear open bearing and press the gear off the shaft with a hydraulic press, replace the two seals and press the gear back on, then replace the end bearings. Oh, and it has to be in the exact same place, not any old place. If you don't have access to the press you can buy one already done from SBT for like $75. You'll have $45 to $50 in just the two bearings and probably another $10-$15 in the two seals. So for the extra $ it might be worth going that way.
