hey there I am in need to buy a new inlet grate just don't know what style or number of tines I should be buying.
I currently have a 6 tine with I believe is standard but I noticed that there are 12tines and then also a three piece spring loaded tine. If anyone could help me out on choosing Thanks

Your factory grate is the spring loaded type. It's known as the "Hydrosurge". It's a good thought... but in use... they do have a tendency of breaking. When that happens... it causes damage.

The 11 tine "Rock grate" is good if you are in shallow, gravely water. But... it plugs faster that the others. Personally... if I was going to by a new grate... I would get the 6 tine, fixed, aluminum unit.
