are you guys as ready as i am to burn some serious premium gas? lets all cross our fingers for good weather!

Lookin' for some action

I pray for good weather as this is my only day off, with that said, where would you recommend putting in? I am thinking my wife and I would like to hit somewhere with amazingly clear water and do some snorkeling. We will be trailering from MacDill AFB. First thought is Fort Desoto, Anybody else have any ideas, is there a party with free Hooters wings and Beer that I dont know about?

Thanks,
Duane

Why burn premium in that xp? The manual calls for 87 octane. Don't spend money you don't have to.:)

In fact, I've read that premium gas is actually bad for Seadoo engines that call for 87 octane. I always use 87, but it's becoming harder to find it without 10% ethanol.

Hell yes bigler! I cant wait to get out on the lake. Only problem is we havent seen the sun for the whole month of June can only hope July is better guess it cant be much worse. I'm packing up the seadoos now and plan on driving to upstate NY in a few hours for the weekend

Hell yea!!! We are supposed to have a awesome weekend to ride here. Weather is said to be in the 90-100's all weekend long. Sounds like a recipe for some hard riding mixed with a lot of beer drinking. Of course not at the same time.

I did too. Friend let me keep it on the jet dock tonight so I didnt have to trailer it all the way home tonight :D How nice?! I burn 87 in my GTI... Dealer said not to worry about ethanol because in the last 2-3 years they've been building the engines to handle the effects of it.

ok so i just went through 6 tanks of premium on my xp this weekend and your telling me 87 is better? geeze is this really true?

this is good news. but yeah my weekend was great. minnesota's weather finally turned around and we had sunny 75 degree plus days all weekend. problem is, weather is getting better each day this week and now im back home. oh well, i hope everyone else had fun and consumed close to as much alcohol as me

Found our own Island

Wifey and I shoved off of Clearwater FL and headed north towards Caledessi Island up a chain of Spoil Islands. Most had shelters on them already with people starting to grill. We found the last one uninhabited and set up. 45 min. later another older couple pulled up on their SeaDoo. We had a great day. I will post a short video to my youtube site tomorrow. Link is in my sig.

Great weekend . . . the weather here in Georgia was sunny and in the upper 80s and 90s every day until it rained a little late Sunday. Time to make a trip to the Seadoo dealer for more 2-stroke oil. I pay $47/gallon for full synthetic (yellow bottle) Bombardier XPS oil here. Regular (white bottle) Bombardier XPS 2-stroke mineral oil is about $30/gallon, but the manual says to use only full synthetic. How much do you guys pay?

i think mine is only like 23$ a gallon but i could be off by a few bucks. havent had to buy any yet for my new ride.

I buy it by the case. It comes out to be about $43 a gallon as opposed to $47. That saves me about $10 dollars per 3 gallons. I use maybe just over a case per season.

i had a GREAT day on the Sam Rayburn Resivoir on Sunday, got to get the ski up to 50 some odd MPH, went through about two tanks of good ole low test gas...:D
