I just got this 2003 Seadoo Challenger 240 we took it out first time it ran fine no problems. Second time it started beeping 4 times then off 2 min or so then kept beeping on and off. The low oil light is not on. I found the belt had came off so I changed the belt and changed the fuel filter.
Took it out again and I still get the beeping. It started this time as soon as I cranked it up within a min so just kept driving it it seemed fine I can smell the 2 stroke oil so I know its getting oil and not over heating so I drove it a while then it seemed like the engine cut the power like it would only idle if I tried to go over idle if would get a solid beep and cut power (like rev limiter). To get it to stop beeping continuous I would have to put it in neutral then it would go back to the 4 beeps. So I took it back to the trailer. I unplugged the fuel filter water in fuel electrical connector it didn't stop the beeping.
Anyone see anything like this I would greatly appreciate the help!
