240 EFI vs 250 Optimax Islandia

If you find one with the 240, make sure it is the newer model with the electric oil pump. The older style used a worm gear off the crank that is known to fail. The newer 240s have a rectangle flywheel cover and a pulley style alternator. I had that style 240 for 10 years and it was trouble free. I've got a 250 Optimax in an Islandia now but only had it for a month. Time will tell which is better.
