240 efi parts

My boat is in the shop, afraid it might be the ecm. Anyone know a cheap place to get a refurb or used ecm. Its like 2 grand from merc. I have a 2002 islandia w/ the merc 240 efi.

Nope... Merc parts are hard to find... and when you do, they are expensive.

You are better off finding a 240 Merc EFI with a bad power head... then you can strip off the electronics.

BUT... is it the Merc ECM, or the Seadoo MPEM?

i dunno yet, im hoping to find out this week whats wrong. the mechanic is a master mercury mechanic from lancaster county marine in lancaster, pa and they have had it over a week. Im hoping he comes back with news like it just needed reseting not replaced.

did the ecm work

I was told that my ecm needs replacing , what were the symptons you were having and did you find a cheaper place to buy it ,i found boats.net had it for 1800
