What is the reason Sea Doo and the other manufactures do not make a boat 24 ft. My 230 is 23 ft. 6 in, Yamaha 23 ft. 9 in. Is there some US CG thing about requirements 24 ft. and above? I love my 230 but would like it to be a little longer for rough water like a 27 ft. Will Sea Doo make a larger one someday?

I feel like a main reason is that jet pumps have a hard time with a lot of weight. If you want a big jet boat, i'd go for a Hamilton or Berkely jet drive. Plus once you have a boat that big, whats the point of having it a jet boat? The draft will probably be more than one foot, and they drink gas like no tomorrow. Stern drives and outboards are a lot more practical at that point.
