Hey everyone, new to this site. Looks like a lot of info. here. Got a 2009 150 speedster with a 215 hp supercharged engine, bought it last year with 10 hours on it. Used it last year and brought it to a brp dealer to get it serviced and winterized, used it this year 1 ride across the pond and the solenoid quit. While I had it on the beach rocks got caught in the grate. Pushed boat into water and crossed out the solenoid and jammed the empeller, took it home and removed rocks.Took starter off to make sure I didn't fry it and ordered a new solenoid. Took boat out this weekend and got a ride around the lake, ran great, then the oil light and warning went off. Got the boat to shore and all the oil is in the bottom of the boat. Boat now has 13 hrs on it and that is the history since I owned it. Anyone got any ideas on what to look for?

You can't see where the oil leaked from the engine? I would think there would be some kind if a mess on the block?

Did you pull the stick? Is there water in the engine?

Hey, Thanks for the help. Found the leak today, the oil separator cover is leaking. Going to strip it off and hopefully there is nothing internal that caused it.

Dang, that sounds bad. When you say gears are chewed up, what do you mean? Are there gears in the pump or is this somewhere else?

In the above picture, you can see the gear that revolves around in the oil pump chamber. If you can see the surface of the oil pump they are grooved. That is a bad oil pump. His might be worse. It's time that bltrje throw up some pictures.

Here is an animation showing how the pump works

That's some good info. I would still have no idea where that is in my motor. Would this issue be caused by bad oil or something else?
