210 Challenger SE Steering Failure

I was out on the boat yesterday just cruising along when I head a snap from the steering wheel and completely lost all steering capability. This is a 2010 Challenger 210SE that has 79 hours on it. The boat was purchased brand new and has been maintained meticulously. I am very upset about this as a loss of steering in a maritime environment could have been extremely dangerous. The boat is under warranty still so I am taking it to the dealer on Tuesday. All of the linkage in the rear is connected but I think the cable snapped at the rear inside the metal tube protruding by the jet pumps. Has anyone had any other issues with this? I intend to follow up with Seadoo about this.
