210 Challenger - analog speedo question

The analog speedometer is incredibly in accurate. Where does this get it's reading from? GPS engine rpm? If I can find a good used one I may replace it unless it's the signal coming to it giving it inaccurate readings. My guess it's the guage itself as it never goes to zero.

The manual says that the analog speedometer gets its reading from the gps just like the digital display. If you don't get a gps lock, it guesses based on "information from other systems".

That helps, the digital seems accurate, I always get a GPS 'lock'. I have to believe it's the guage since it never zeros out.
