2021 Sea Doo RXTX won’t accelerate past 6000 rpm

I just bought a used 2021 RXTX 300. Runs great but won’t go past 6,000 rpm. No other issues. Just seems governed. Bought it with 10 hours. Seems mechanically fine. I have 3 other skis including a brand new RXTX that cranks. I can’t figure it out. It accelerates well but just stops at 6000 rpm. Is there a chance the key I have was programmed to be governed? It is a yellow key, can they be programmed as a learner key? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I believe it is possible to program a yellow key as a learner key. You'll need a Can-Doo Pro or similar tool to find out. I can't remember if the display will indicate a learner key is installed on the post. I'll try it on my 2017 GTR tomorrow and let you know.
