So I'm the proud owner of a brand new se 155, new to PWC but have been on the water most of my life. Took it out for the first timerang great for about 3 passes around a smaller lake (roughly 5 miles total) On the third pass i got 2 beeps and a loss of power limited to around 30mph, started to head back to the dock and got a second set of beeps with loss of power down to 5 mph max. I checked oil, wiring, coolant, coils, everything i can reach and know of from working on cars. I've since run it to get it out of the water and back to the dealer, which i know they will take care of under warranty. It seemed to run fine when doing so and it was the very next morning. I'm more wondering if anyone else has had similar issues and of so what may have been found? It's got less than an hour on it still and is a little depressing to have to bring it back already.

Thanks for any info!

So you did have the check engine warning on the console or just beeps? Basically, you are supposed to "burn in" the new machine, i.e. be careful for the first 10 hours. On my GTI 90 2018, the computer even prevented me from accelerating or it dropped the speed without warning. However, I do not remember the beeps. If you got a check engine warning on top of that, then your only choice was to bring it back to the dealer.
