Hi, I’ve had my spark for a few years now. Had it winterized and it was for a year I didn’t use it. It’s only got 20 hours on it. I took it out the first time last week and at times had little to no acceleration. If I killed it and turned back on it would be fine. My mistake I hadn’t charged the battery before taking it out. Anyways I’d started it up in the driveway with the hose attached and it started right up. I had a check engine light and limp home was displayed a few times.. I shut it off and turned it back on and was able to resume back to my docking spot. However eventually I killed it waiting to dock and the display faded out and it wouldn’t start back up. Would the check engine light have anything to do with a weak battery? Could that be my issue with the weak response? Maybe I should try some fuel stabilizer. The tank was just about empty I had a brand new full tank in it. Also is it best to run high octane? I’ve been running regular because I was told I could do so... any opinions on what could the issue with the sputtering? Thank you.
