2015 RXP-X 260 Turns but won’t start

Purchased the ski 4 months ago and the oil was mint and owner turned it on first try. Only issue was the owner did a water test and let the water run without the engine on for a solid minute or so. After taking her home we completely forgot to drain the water. We garage stored it for 3 months and disconnected the battery. We tried firing her up and realized there was a whole bunch of water sitting so it took a few tries but she fired up and all the water came draining out.

There was some water in the sparks and oil, so we are working on flushing the oil 2-3 times. We sucked out the water in the spark cylinders and flushed the old gas out with fresh 92 octane and we also just replaced the sparks.

Now that the fresh oil is in and old oil is pumped out the ski will crank but won’t fire up. The engine light comes on but it won’t seem to display the code after pressing set 5 times.

Any clue what the problem can be and what else can I troubleshoot to get it fired up again?

I forgot to mention, the sparks are getting wet with unburnt gasoline now. There isn’t any Water now just gas

Maybe spark plugs not firing and burning fuel injected in the cylinders. Go thru the basic protocols for a non-firing machine of any type.
Also If fuel injected, pull pump fuse, plugs and either spray fogging oil or suitable substitute and spin the motor to lubricate cylinder walls. Then work the spark problem.

I had a similar thing happen on a ski ages ago (not getting water in the engine, but having plugs flooded with fuel)…..despite cleaning / drying the plugs it just would not start…..fitted new plugs and away it went.

I guess the main things I’d be starting with are to ensure it’s getting spark (earth the coil pack with a Screwdriver or similar and see if it arcs), and check that you have good fuel to the injectors…..which it sounds like you do given the flooding of fuel. Also check you have no blown fuses.

Maybe try those things and report back?
