Hello all,
I'm picking up a 2105 GTI in a month or two. It's replacing a 2002 GTI on the trailer. The dealer warned me that if the bunks aren't positioned correctly when they go to load the pwc, they will charge by the hour to adjust them. However, the dealer couldn't tell me what the span should be.
Anyone know what the correct span for this ski would be? Inside edge to inside edge? Are they angled (narrower at front, wider at rear) I don't remember?
I checked the manual and it didn't specify a measurement.
Thanks in advance.

They are not angled as in narrower at the front. My 2010 GTX is 17 inches inside to inside and my 2009 RXT-X is 18 inches.

The new ski should be on a cart or on a trailer when you go pick it up.

This is how I've done it.

1. Measure where you want bunk to go on new ski.
2. Adjust trailer bunk to that distance and set height.
3. Leave the one bolt keeping bunk from swiveling tight enough to adjust under pressure
4. Back trailer up to back of new ski.
5. The bunk should be right under and in b/w ridges (step) where you measured.
6. If your right you'll see it or adjust in or out as needed.

Shouldn't take more than two or three adjustments. The space between is more than the 2x4 bunk.

19" on the inside for my RXT.
as noted above you can leave the bolt lose on the angled bracket and tighten it after you side it on.

honestly, unless its WAY off it isn't going to matter for chit unless the bottom of the hull is scraping against the trailer.

i'd just shoot for 19-20 on the inside (and I prefer 2x6 personally) make sure its high enough for clearance and take the dam thing home you can always adjust it in the parking lot of the boat ramp the first time you take it out.

I own a 2015 GTI 130, my bunks are set 21" on the inside evenly front to back.
