The moment we have all been anticipating. I hope you enjoy the presentation as much as I enjoyed riding the new Yamaha SVHO FZ series skis.
Yamaha has completely hit it out of the park with a host of standard features that make this new ski the ultimate for the performance enthusiast.
It's clear that Yamaha had us, the Greenhulk . net community in mind when they set out to design the updated power plant. They have basically given us a huge head start on what we would buy anyway to built a super fast insane water rocket.
A quick run down of the vast improvements on the SVHO (Super Vortex High Output) skis are:
Forged pistons which are 30% stronger than the cast pistons they replace
The supercharger is upgraded and increases boost 22% over previous model years
The intercooler is larger providing for 25% more efficiency
Upgraded oil cooler provides for an astounding 110% increase in cooling efficiency
Larger fuel injectors with increased flow rate.
New race inspired 8 vein pump which uses a 160mm liner/impeller greatly increases thrust levels (pump is still 155mm)
New 3 degree exit nozzle with larger straightener vanes. 85mm exit diameter.
Newly designed top loader intake grate comes standard and increases pump output and efficiency.
Upgraded sponsons and ride plate combo similar to the designs used to win National and World racing titles.
