I should start by saying I haven't had the ski in the water for about 3 years.
I replaced the battery and it started at the house.
So I went and put it in the water and it started ok.
It ran ok for about 5 minutes then it started sputtering and backfiring so i started heading back to the dock and it started to get better so I ran it for about an hour and went back and docked it to get the truck.
Went to get it on the trailer and it wouldn't start. That was 2 days ago.
I went out in the morning yesterday and it started right up. Shut it off and it wouldn't start again.
The dash comes on but instead of starting it just shuts off.
Did the exact same thing today. Started up the first time then wouldn't start again. The dash starts up and shuts down instead of starting. I took the battery leads off and cleaned them up but that didn't help. Battery has 12.7 V and passed battery check.
And the only sound I hear is the throttle body.
Any ideas why it would behave like this?
And where the hell is the starter relay? I cant find it to save my life.
