All,
just completing a rebuild 2013 RXP 260 engine. When connecting the harness there is a plug I cannot find what it goes to. Assumption it goes to the TOPS SWITCH mounted under the Vent Valve Assy. Which is missing

Can I start it without this? Tops switch is meant for rollover.

Assumption I would get a code or idiot light of some sort or limp mode

Any help would be great!

Well, it's a 3 wire sensor, so it's not the crank and it's not the TOPs switch; switches are two wires, and the crank sensor is a VRS type sensor (2 wire). I'd suggest it's your camshaft sensor (hall effect type). What colors are the three wires on the vehicle harness side (going to the ECU)? You can look it up in the schematic via the wire colors.

Black red and blue. My assumption it (is) the tops. It’s missing from underneath the vent valve assembly. Guess it’s some type of mercury switch? Or something to detect rollover

Thank you so much for confirming this great help

Do you have a functional vent to vent the crankcase fumes?
Could build excessive crankcase pressure and blow a seal if you do not.
