2012 Wake tower manufacture

Hi Helpers

I cant get any spare Parts for my 2012 230 SP for the wake tower from the dealer.

do we know who maked the towers?

i have the info from Xtreme tower products that they made the towers to 2010 - so who maked the last ones?

any help would be great.

i need the one screw per side where the tower pivots..

I can help you with your specific question but.... If you can not find this part I would suggest trying McMaster Carr and search 'shoulder bolt' there are tons of types and you should find the exact one you need. Looks like you might be outside the US but i'm sure you have a similar company that could help you out in your area.

i cant find a exact fit at McMaster - it looks like seadoo had them custom made.

i found the part number, TOWER MOUNT PIVOT BOLT 1/2" X 13 X 1.5"
269800350, wow - 40$ per screw!!! thx seadoo...

My 2012 150 has the factory tower and it was made by xtreme.

I sent xtreme a mail last week and this is part of the answer:

"Unfortunately we can’t help you directly as we did not make your tower and we don’t know who did. 2010 was the last model year that we made towers for Sea-Doo and the tower in your picture doesn’t look like any of the towers we made for them"

Well that's all very odd. The factory tower on my 2012 150 has four huge bolts - two at the bottom on the rear support and 2 at the folding point of the front support. The two tools (large allen keys) that were supplied to deal with these bolts came in a plastic bag clearly marked xtreme tower products with XTP part numbers on it for the tools and other tower parts. The bag even references BRP and model year 12.5.

Does this confirm the actual tower is made by XTP? Up until your last post I have assumed yes! At the very least it does seem to confirm that XTP was involved with some aspect of it in 2012.

i must say your tower, just did some google research, has the same style as the pre 2010 towers for the 230. so yes, i would also assume your tower is a Xtreme.

i did only ask Xtreme for the 230 models.

looks like i will have to bite the dust and pay $80 for 2 screws..

Are you missing a bolt/screw or is it damaged? What's the problem your trying to correct?

Both bolts where so tight i had to cut them to get the tower off. I store my boat in my garage, sadly its to high with the tower folded so i have take it off.

100% saltwater use sets its signs...

Well bummer, nevermind... Thought maybe you could just clean up the treads and shank but guess not.
