Ive had my eyes on a coulple of the 230 boats the last few years with the 510. They are amazing boats. I just cant justify spending that much money. They look badass and run very good but i hate to spend that much. The 510 has been an option in the 20 ft boats since 2010, you just dont see many of them. No chance of finding a good deal on a used one though for like 10 more years...guess ill just keep dreaming.

As much as I would love to upgrade from my 310hp speedster200 to the new 510hp version, I think I'll keep what I have!! With gas prices ready to skyrocket this spring/summer there is no chance I would want to be filling such a gas guzzler!!

I have the 430hp speedster and it is not that bad at all on gas unless you are wide open a lot. Which it is hard not to be. My boat runs 63mph and the 510hp is supposed to do 65mph. Maybe the 510 is a little quicker out of the hole.

I have the wake 230 with the 510 option, there is another guy on the lake I attend to that has the 430 option, we raced, the 510 has way more pull through the powerband, its a differance of 7 to 8 boatlengths over a span of a 1/4 mile.
