So I took my boat in for the 50 hour service. Actual hours on boat were 55 hours. The cost was $275 plus tax. While it was in the shop they did recall service on a strap for the muffler. Interesting that there was a recall on it that I was never notified about.
Here is the interesting thing. Right after I picked up the boat from the dealer I took it out to a nearby lake for a test run.
First thing I noticed was that the boat that previously had a top RPM of around 7700 and a top speed around 55/56 MPH is now easily hitting RPMs just over 8000 and touching 59/60MPH. This is the HO model.
I don't know what else was done or adjusted while the boat was in the shop, but I am liking it. What RPMs is everyone else hitting on their 2012 Speedster 150s?
