So, i left my engine off and my backflush water running to discover my engine wount start and the oil is mixed with water. Great Job, Me!

Anyone know what gasket i must have blow and how deep do i have to rip the engine apart to fix?

i pulled the starter and water came pouring out.

Something tells me I have lot of work to do and an expensive fix.

Any Help?

Sam

No gasket blew...it just backed flowed in through your exhuast mainafold...your boat has to be running when flushing it out with the hose...need to get it running fast and start to boil the water out...change oil first and get it up to tempiture...then keep repeating the same step till the oil is clean and not milky...use a cheap oil till you get it clean cause at this point it's just used to get the water out...pull the plugs first and turn it over trying to blow water out through the spark plug holes..

And after you get the oil showing no signs of water, get it out on the water ASAP and run it for 1/2 hour or so to help eliminate any residual condensation

It happens to many..

Engine ON, water on, water off, engine OFF.

You really need to get the boat out for a pretty good 30 minute ride. This will heat up the block and get rid of the residual water in the block. You may have to change the oil 3 or 4 times to get all the water out of the oil.

Listen to all of the advice given so far! Follow it exactly to the "T." It is the way too solve your problem. One question, "Why are you back flushing a Seadoo around the Chicago area? You don't have salt water.
