2012 Sea Doo 210 Wake and ipod

Hi,
New 2012 210 wake and many qs:

The touch screen has an ipod button (in addition to radio, satellite, aux, usb) but there is no connector. It would be great to be able to control the iphone from the screen while at the wheel. We have tried using a regular USB cable for ipod, and tried both iphone 3 and 4 as well as ipod, but it won't recognize it. How to connect them together?

I appreciate any help!

It is for flash drives or mp3, not for Apple,

Finally I got an answer from the dealer:
IPOD interface cable:

The cable is a Jensen cable. It actually plugs into the Jensen head unit receiver inside the STDB console. Attached are 2 I found online. They may be able to find them cheaper if they shop around.
