2012 Challenger has GPS speedo?

I noticed that the console of the 2012 180 Challenger SE has a little GPS satellite symbol on the speedometer. Is it really using GPS for speed? I haven't been able to confirm that in the manual or on this forum.

Yes and I can't get anyone to help on a question of speedo and GPS also.
