New 2012 210 wake and many questions:
We still have not been able to figure out how to turn on the lights on the light bar. Where is the switch?

I am considering taking it to different lakes and would like to use the GPS function on the touch screen. I believe that you have to purchase an SD digital card with the appropriate maps. What model is the GPS? Where do you put the card? Anybody have pictures. The manual is no help at all!:ack:

Thank you so much

I'm wondering the same thing, I want to get it but don't know how to add it or which one to get.

*Edit-I just went and looked and it has a place for a SD card, and a USB plug on the back of the touch screen, so I guess it'll take either the downloadable map or the SD card.

I think I figured it out. The boat has a Medallion Viper GPS. I purchased the SD card from Navionics with hotmaps, lakes. I got it from waypoints.com.
I will try it out this weekend. Will see....

There is a switch that turns the light bar on when flipped up. I turned mine on last weekend.

not in the light bar. I think it's a switch that you have to flip down for one thing and up for another. I'll have to look at my boat tonight if you still can't figure it out.

Answer from the dealer about GPS:
MAP CHIP:

If you type in "navionics MSD 1XG" in google it will come up in many stores to buy from. It covers all USA. This is the best one. Note that MSD (micro secure data) describes the format of the card and ensures you are getting the correct one. (Micro SD Charts work in both SD and MSD devices. The Micro SD chart comes inserted in an SD Adapter. Simply remove the Micro SD chart from the adapter to use in MSD devices.).

Note, the card above covers all of the U.S and includes coastal areas and costs around $179. It appears you can buy a card that covers a smaller area for less money--around $99.

When you are one a retailer's website, you will typically be asked the brand of the manufacturer. This is just to ensure you are getting the correct format (at least that it my guess). Our manufacturer is "Medallion Viper".

Hi
I sure you figured out that the light switch for the wake bar is up for the four lights and down for the blue lights and interior lighting.
The other switch is for the anchor and running lights.
I have the coastal marine maps loaded from a scan disk into the nav unit.
I can record courses, but need help will plotting.
