The small cubby near the front has a drain for water inside it, but it has stopped draining water. I've fed some tube through it and pumped air through it as well to see if it was blocked. Neither worked. Anyone have maybe an idea of what I could do ,or if could drill a new hole and where I could safely do that?

Use a hanger and poke through the existing hole. Something is clogged I there and that should fix it quite easily.
