Just as the title reads im replacing my impeller and wear ring. I have most everything i need to do the job i just need a few detail parts. for the nose cone I need to know what type of grease or gear oil I need when putting it back together. also which type of loctite should I be using for bolts? Some say 268, some say 648, I have no idea which to use. There doesnt seem to be any videos for doing this for speedsters so ive been limited to mainly just looking for "seadoo" videos.

I’m about to rebuild mine this week too. Been doing a lot of forum searching and thinking I’m going to convert from Grease to oil. No performance gains but from what I’ve read better bearing protection. Etc.. http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=174231
For rebuilding 3ftdeep has a good video on 4tec rebuild…
For the Loctite on the cone they showed using 243. Whatever you use I wouldn’t use a heavy duty being you’ll need to separate it later.
