Whenever i pull tubers on this boat i have a hard time getting the rope out of the water. Further the churning of the water from the impeller sprays the tubers so badly they can barely see. Is there anything I can do to reduce this spraying?

Get a longer rope or I've sen people run the rope through a pool noodle to keep it above the water more.

I’ve got two ropes, both 60’ (I believe, might have to double check). One is rated for more weight than the other and is thicker and the one I use for the big tube; the lighter weight rope is for the smaller tube. The lighter weight rope tends to get caught in the wash more than the heavier rope when pulling both tubes. Even with longer ropes, if I pull too fast - like when we’re just trying to get to another part of the lake - riders will get sprayed. But usually I’m pulling around 17-22 mph and they’re far enough back not to get hit with water from the jet.

blast of water in the face: adds to the fun, no?
Yeah, usually they’re outside the wake as I whip them around, so a blast to the face is par for the course!
Also, I try to give the best ride, grape on a knifes edge balance, and bring them back right before they fall. I don’t like stopping to pick them up!

I use a tow ball, it keeps the rope out of the wake and helps with the spray in the face FF9EBD7B-3AFF-4BA6-A553-D03310722AFC.jpeg
