2010 Speedster 255 SCIC RPM

The boat only has 5 hours on it, so not looking to break it, but the top RPM with me on board only and full fuel is 6370. Is there a break-in limit built in? I've seen this on other posts that there is until 10hrs. Other say "learning" key. The boat came new with one key "black" and when I asked the dealer he said they all come with just one. Is the Learning key a thing of the past?
