2010 RXT-X 260 Damaging Temp Sensors

I have a 2010 RXT-X 260 that has always had strange problems. Everything seemed to be kicked off by a voltage rectifier going bad.

The main problem is that it thinks the intake temp sensor is super hot, like 200.
It is somehow damaging the actual sensors in a way that they start to read high temp. I can take some of the damaged sensors, plug them in, and they will instantly read around 180. I can take a brand new sensor and it will read properly.
After about 5 hours of use, they start to go bad and read hot.
I have tried both styles of the exposed probe sensors and just tried one of the newer style ones that looks like an exhaust sensor.
Have you seen anything even close to this?
