2010 Challenger Stereo question??

I have a 2010 Challenger with a Jensen stereo in it, when I pick up speed the stereo mutes..... I can't figure out why!!
Is it a setting on the boat or the stereo?

I can just about guarantee you that there is no setting that makes the stereo mute at certain speeds.

Does it unmute when you slow down or does it just randomly mute? Is it just under certain water conditions? ie Does it happen on smooth water? The most likely issue is that you have either a short somewhere or a defective head unit.

Either there is a short or the stereo has been wired incorrectly. I do not know why someone would intentionally want it to function that way, I would rewire the power and ground wires so that the radio works as expected.

i got the jensen sound system in mine, and it is definitely not normal, maybe bad wiring or short somewhere, and i have no setting to mute sound when speeding

After having the battery out of the boat over the winter.... something must have reset because the muting problem is gone.
