This is a bittersweet post. After 6 great years, we are selling our 2010 Challenger 210 SE in order to move up to a boat we can do overnight cruising on. She has been a wonderful boat for us. We purchased the boat in 2014 with 27 hours on the engines from a couple that was getting transferred to Maine (he was in the Coast Guard). She now has 395 hours on her and has been with us on every trip to the coast we have made.
I handled all of the maintenance, winterization, etc... following the recommended service intervals. Engines have been trouble-free. Never been towed back to the dock.
Boat specs:
-twin 155 HP naturally aspirated 4-Tec engines
-Throttle by wire with
—Cruise Control (Maintains specific speed)
—Ski Mode (5 ramp modes, ramps to specific ski speed)
—Eco Mode (calculates best speed to fuel burn ratio)
—Docking mode (no idea, never used it)
-added built-in battery charger with charging port
-Upgraded Fortress aluminum anchor, 15 ft of chain, 50 ft of rode
-Garmin GPS w/ mount and power, lake and coastal maps
-Kicker speakers (lighted), Pioneer Amp, Bluetooth receiver
-Proactively replaced steering cable (2017)
-Bimini replaced (Sunbrella) 2018
-Upholstery replaced 2019
-Captains chairs replaced 2019
-Cockpit covers (need replacing soon)
-Commercial Sewing (Poppy) travel cover in good shape
-Karavan Trailer, oil bath axle bearings, brakes replaced and new tires 2018, spare tire/mount, Boat buckles.
