Hello all.

When I turn the key on the in dash voltage meter does not read anything. I took the boat out and, even with both engines running at idle, or at speed, it is still just sitting on the peg. I have looked for blown fuses but cannot find any. Anyone have any ideas as to what might be the cause? I hate to think I have to replace the actual gauge as that thing is just under $400.... It was working when I put it away last winter.

Thanks in advance!

Check the signal wire going into the gauge. Also try to ground out the gauge. I believe it should peg out when you do.

Thanks JPass. I will be going with multi-meter and other various tool in hand on my next trip to where it is docked.

Really, really want a simple solution as the thought of nearly $400 for the gauge makes one ill

Finally got back to the river this past weekend. The in dash gauge is bad...that sucker is so expensive. Not sure we are replacing it this year.
