2009 speedster lost ladder

Hi I've searched all the parts sites for 2009 speedster ladder. It's the single step pull down. It's now a discontinued item. Talked to our seadoo dealer they recommended buying a 2012 and they should be able to change it out. If anyone has had to do this I'd love to know how well that worked or if anyone has found a substitute. I contacted aqua performance after reading someone else talking about them being the older model ladder manufacturer but she replied they have nothing similar that would work.
Any advice is appreciated.

That's a bummer. Wish I could offer some help. Thought I'd chime in for people to check the pin on their ladder, as I almost lost mine last week too. The split pin that holds the ladder in fell out, and it came out in my hands when I released the 2 rubber straps! Pretty cheap design. They should have used something that was retained better. Made a solid pin at work with a couple o-rings to hold it for now till I can get it TIG welded in place in the fall. Good luck with the fix!

I don't have specific info about your ladder but a lot of the parts on these boats are pretty generic and originally manufactured by third parties. You may have luck if the original manufacturer is still around

I'd suggest calling windline and talk to them directly.

In the following ebay link they list 4 part#'s it was under, try googling all 4 and see what you turn up. Also you can do a dealer search for parts and your local dealer SHOULD be able to check other dealers inventory. I've done this before with a dealer online. Very easy.
