This is probably a ridiculously simple problem, but I thought someone here might be able to help.

The radio was left on in my 2009 Seadoo 150 Speedster and now the battery is dead. The manual says you have to visit an authorized seadoo dealer, etc etc for a battery change. Does the boat actually have to be pulled off the water and brought in for a battery change? Or can you simply buy a new battery and replace it while the boat is still on the water? is there any danger to doing this?

Any advice very much appreciated!!

A 2009 battery is fairly new. All you have to do is buy a charger and charge it up. You do not need to go to a Sea Doo dealer for battery maintenance. Periodically charging up your battery is what you should be doing anyway.

Yeah just charge it. Make sure it is either out of the boat, or totally disconnected from the cables.
