I just purchased this 09 255 HP Speedster and ran it for the first time today. The boat only has a 100 hours on it, and was just serviced after sitting winterized. The boat fired right up and performed as expected, but after about 45 minutes it would not accelerate in the forward position. I thought maybe I had some seaweed, so I put in in reverse and made great circles with no problem. I then tried going forward with little success as it would rev super high and move at no wake speeds only. The boat didn't come with a manual, but I did own a 2001 Challanger, so I am not totally lost when it come to Seadoos, but as one could imagine very disappointed today. Any and all advice is welcome, thanks to all!

If you get high revs but are not really going anywhere, you have a bad wear ring, stripped drive shaft, or something in the impeller...

Look at impeller from under boat after looking from behind.I had a twig stuck that was hard to see.Keep looking! I used long needle nose pliers and a flexible knife.

I wonder if your bucket is the wrong position. Did you take it out of the water and inspect the pump area and bucket?
