Hello all,

Looking to get into the Jet Boat world and would be enjoying the fresh water with my family and friend's family. Would be 8 of us in the boat the majority of time, so how much should i expect to pay for a 2009 510 left over, or should I look into the 2010 210 430? Heard a few first year problems with the 210, but do really like what they did with the seating at the swim platform. Which we you go with? My budget is not going to allow for a 2010 230 SE, but was wondering if I could find a left over 2009 this time of year, what the pricing would be.

Thanks in advance for any guidance here!!

From what I have heard from most people on the bigger boats, the difference between the 430 and the 510 isnt that huge. I am not sure the price difference, but saving the money on the engine upgrade might find you a 2010 vs an 09.

I think that the new 2010 210 Challenger/Wake is a great boat. I have seen some on here talk about a few early issues, but none of them seemed to be real serious and Sea Doo appears to have properly handled them all.

However if you are going to have 8 people on the boat most of the time, I think that you will want the extra room that the 23 footer give you. 8 people will fit on the 210 fine, but once you start doing watersports, getting things in/out of storage, moving around the deck, etc, you will probably wish you had the bigger boat.
