Hi everyone, this boat is such a love/hate relationship... Every hour of use results in hours of maintenance.. I'll get to the point. Head gasket issue so I replaced it, reseated my valves since the head was off and used new stretch bolts... Have compression, have spark, have fuel and pinned the crank & cam and have the timming dead on... Now it turns over but won't fire and sending me camshaft position code PO344, put the sensor on the oscilloscope and it's ok,.did a continuity test from sensor to ECM and it's ok.... anyone think of anything I've left out ???

I've fought with that code a few times usually on broken timing chains. The problem has been that is one of the few codes that doesn't want to clear itself all the time. Just recently on a complete engine replacement that had this code before engine was replaced I had to use BUDS to clear the code first, then the new engine ran fine.
