2008 speedster sputtering

I just bough a 2008 speedster 150 215hp. I took it out for the first time this year and it just won't go! When I give full throttle is acts like it wants to take of but then sputters a bit and the rpm's come down. I only see 40mph and like 6800rpm at full throttle. Any idea what this could be? It did have about a half tank of old gas from last year.

you have a fouled spark plug, replace all three and you will be good!!
